Age-Friendly Healthcare

• Learn about the 4Ms of age-friendly care. (also in Spanish)
• 7-month Action Communities are available for hospitals, practices, nursing homes, etc., and are hosted by the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI), the American Hospital Association (AHA), and the Healthcare Association of New York State (HANYS).

Education

• Meet standards and receive recognition from American College of Emergency Physicians in 3 levels: acep.org/geda
• Hospitals can meet standards and be verified by American College of Surgeons for age-friendly surgical care: facs.org/quality-programs/geriatric-surgery
